PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT MR. JOEL CAPCO IS NO LONGER CONNECTED WITH WECONNECT INC., RUSH RUNNERS NETWORK, OUR PARTNERS AND ANY TRANSACTIONS/OR ACTIVITY FOR “500K RUNNERS VS. CYBERCRIMES.THE MANAGEMENT IS COOPERATING WITH PNP-CIDG IN FILING THE CASE AGAINST THIS PERSON.

This is an official statement from Weconnect Inc.’s Management:

First of all, we would like to confirm that our event “500k Runners vs. Cybercrimes” is definitely not a scam. We have been informed that Mr. Joel Capco is spreading rumors against Weconnect Inc.’s Cybercrime Busters event  “500k Runners vs. Cybercrimes”.

We would not like this matter to go on public because we’re still considering the good relationship we have with Mr. Capco before. However, we are releasing this statement because we are forced to do so.

The Real Story

Mr. Joel Capco was introduced to the team by Weconnect Inc.’s Vice President Michael Matawaran. He was then introduced to Mr. Jayant Jared Era, Weconnect Inc.’s CEO. He told them that he has a lot of media connections and can help the team in gathering media partners, sponsors etc. After a good talk, he (Mr. Capco) decided to join the team whole heartedly (no contracts, just because Mr. Matawaran and him are close relatives).  A series of road trips was made by the CEO himself together with Mr. Capco to visit different media companies. In line with this, the group nourished Mr. Capco with cellphone loads, enough food, medicine supplies (because he told us that he is sick). The group also provided him with a new mobile phone to make communications with him easier.

During the events’ press launch, the group handed him P12, 000.00 for organizing it (this does not include the amount given to him for catering and other services we avail during the event). Lately, we have been informed that no one has received anything from him.  By then we realized that Mr. Capco is just using the company to get into different establishments. After a series of not-so-satisfying work by Mr. Capco, the team decided to remove him, little did we know that Mr. Capco has started to spread rumors to different running groups. Weconnect Inc. in cooperation with PNP-CIDG is now working on filing a lawsuit to apprehend Mr. Capco.

Please be informed that anyone who helped this rumor spread will be apprehended by the law.  Because of this, the management is very eager to continue and fight Cybercrimes not just for ourselves who have become a victim but for all the individuals out there.
